Warranty

Basso bikes are warranted to be free of defects in material and workmanship for 2 years from the date of purchase. Basso offers the warranty extension to 3 years total (2+1) if you register your bike within 20 days from the date of purchase, via the "Register your bike" area on www.bassobikes.com.

Basso does not warrant components assembled on the bikes but will act as a mediator to assure the quickest possible solution to the problem when asked. A copy of Basso warranty terms and conditions is attached to each bike and frame. Basso will replace the defective parts, such as frame, fork, or any part of the bicycle when shown to be defective. It is the right of Basso to accept the claim or reject it because of misusing the production. The warranty is limited to the replacement of the faulty part and the freight cost. It does not cover labor and handling cost. Should the part be replaced out of production, Basso will replace it with the most similar product currently in production.

Basso warranty becomes void if the bicycle or its parts show any evidence of:
a) use other than that for which it was designed
b) damage resulting from attempted repairs or improper assembly done by others than Basso repair service
c) improper storage/safekeeping
d) impacts received during accidents
e) damage resulting from fire, earthquake or environmental events
f) the bike or parts have been sold to a second owner (second-hand product)

Every warranty claim is handled directly by the Basso dealers. Please contact your dealer for the first inspection on the faulty frame or component.
The dealer will then contact our Warranty Service directly, keeping you addressed with the progress of the claim.
